Introduction
Each mane and tail has it's own separate texture unique from all the others and many of the mane and tail textures have lots of small pieces that make up the entire thing, some of these pieces not being very obvious. This guide is to simply show you what piece goes where on the different styles.
I'm only showing the textures for the manes and tails that can be previewed via the Alicia Editor.

Manes
Medium
Left half of the mane texture is for the low resolution version of the mane, which is visible on low graphics or on horses that you aren't riding. If you are making a frosted or multi-toned mane, make sure to color both sides.
The way the Alicia Editor renders this mane will make anything underneath the blue, light blue, and green parts invisible at certain angles.

Shaved
This one is kind of strange. It has a lot of pieces, but the way the model is made, not all of the pieces show/actually matter. I colored in every piece so it's easier to see what is more important. As you can see, the only pieces of the texture that show up on the model is the dark blue, yellow, and red. I'm assuming the other pieces are LOD textures.
Tails
Slink
Thick
The inside 'support' mesh is dark blue. Underneath the top lair of hair, there is a second lair, which is red. The top lair is light blue, yellow, and green. A piece of the mesh that is colored yellow does clip through. This is an error made during the creation of the original model.
In the Alicia Editor, the shadows are especially strange on this tail. If you are having problems viewing your texture, try viewing on Model Alicia003.
